Christmas TV? Seen it all before...

I've just discovered another reason why its so important to have a good quality cabinet on which to stand your TV - you'll need something more interesting to stare at instead of the TV screen if you plan on slumping into your favourite chair for some viewing entertainment over the Christams period. Initial reports of the Christmas TV schedules have apparently shown that some 600 hours of the programming on the 4 main terrestrial channels will all be repeats or 'another chance to see' as the announcers put it.

Actually I must confess, that while its sad we seem unable to make new programmes with sufficient appeal these days, I actually ike watching many of the old films and programmes (maybe its an age thing?). I guess they become part of the tradition surrounding Christmas. They remind us of Christmases past, of happy times and of sharing our lives with family or friends that are no longer with us.

OK, its important to look forward and not back, but its also nice to remember the good bits from the past sometimes. Whatever your view, its surprising what a difference a good TV cabinet makes. Its so much neater than a motley collection of receivers, players or whatever surrounded by wires and framed by piles of videos (what?) and DVDs. Because its neater, its actually more enjoyable to watch whats on the screen. For a varied selection of good quality TV cabinets at competitive prices, try our old friends at Right Price Furniture. They offer TV cabinets in a wide choice of styles and finishes, so there should be something to suit most rooms and budgets.
